About Me

My background

Gymnastics After watching the U.S Women's Gymnastics team compete at the 2012 Summer Olympics and chanting, "Go Gaby, go Aly!" while jumping up and down on my sofa, my parents enrolled me into gymnastics at age three. I quickly fell in love with the sport, started competing at age 7, and moved to North Stars Gymnastics Academy, where I was invited to join its homeschool training program at age  9.
Today, I am 15 and just finished my third year as a USAG Level 10 gymnast. My dream is to compete for an NCAA Division 1 Women's Gymnastics team. I am a hard worker, coachable and committed to perfecting and progressing my skills. I am excited for the future!

Education I take online classes year-round to accommodate my 28.5-hour a week training. Math is my favorite subject and I work hard to maintain a straight-A overall average in my core subjects. My gym has an on-site homeschool program administrator and math teacher.

On the personal side I am the oldest of three girls. I like doing art projects, have been a Girl Scout since kindergarten and I am proud to have completed my Bronze Award. My troop has performed numerous community service projects. We have taken turns choosing and leading projects and have worked or donated to support military serving overseas, a children's hospital, displaced teens, an animal shelter, food pantry, assisted living centers, an anti-bullying campaign, and supporting hospital workers during the pandemic, etc.

During my down time, I enjoy the beach, hanging out with my family and friends, watching action movies -- especially Marvel, swimming, traveling, baking, making homemade pizza and jewelry, spending time with my dog and listening to music.

My family is richly diverse. My maternal grandparents are from Italy, my late paternal grandmother was from South Korea, and my grandfather is a U.S. Air Force military veteran with German and Irish roots. I have a big family with 14 aunts and uncles, 18 first cousins, three second cousins and dozens of others in our extended group. We are close and I have fun spending time with them.
