My troop performed community service projects and we have taken turns choosing and leading a cause. Over the years, we have worked and/or donated to support military serving overseas, a children's hospital, displaced teens, a regional animal shelter, local food pantry, assisted living centers, our elementary school with beautification projects, adopted a family over the holidays and went shopping for them, supplied a local family/pregnancy aid center with baby items, etc.
Participated and volunteered for several community metastatic breast cancer walks/5Ks in memory of a dear family friend, 2018-2023.
